Choices abound in this series, including the choice of plate color backgrounds in a shade of lemon zest, "Twist Limone," or a celery hue, "Twist Verde". Purists might opt for the simplest of all - the mosaic trim on white, "Twist Caro". A full complement of serving and decorative accessories is available, as well. The pleasing paintbox color cubes and their lineup on each piece create a playful pattern that will enliven any table no matter what the occasion.This deep 3-quart colander is designed to drain pasta and vegetables quickly and thoroughly. Exhibiting the colorful mosaic-like 'tiles' of Villeroy & Boch's Twist Alea collection, the enameled steel colander coordinates with Twist Alea Limone, Verde, and Caro lines of dinner- and bakeware.
Measuring 5-1/2 by 11 inches, the colander is made of heavy-gauge carbon steel coated with a durable porcelain enamel finish that resists chips and stains. A shiny touch is added by the stainless-steel rim and cast handles. Washing the colander by hand with a sponge and dishwashing liquid, not abrasives, will keep the finish bright and smooth.
