This large, double-handled serving tray is made of lightly stained maple wood, polished to a satiny finish. It has slightly curved, concave sides and handles, giving it a natural look. It is a good size for breakfast in bed with enough room for a large plate, coffee cup, silverware, and jam for the toast! (Villeroy & Boch has a cute jam spoon that'd be perfect for that.) Other serving pieces in the collection include an unusual, boat-shaped bread bowl, a tureen-like covered vegetable dish, and lidded butter and margarine dishes.

The Villeroy & Boch Home Elements serving tray should be washed by hand in warm water with a mild detergent and dried immediately with a soft dishcloth. It is varnished, so the oil treatments used on some cutting boards or wooden bowls are not necessary. The serving tray measures 19-1/2 by 15-1/4 by 3 inches. --Garland Withers
