Description of Villeroy & Boch Florea 9 1/2-Inch Round Vegetable Bowl
The soft minty green and pale pink pattern with taupe background evokes a feeling of sprintime. Beautiful blossoms and blooms adorn this lovely garden-inspired pattern. The vitrified porcelain makes for a strong and long-lasting life and is dishwasher and microwave safe.This 9-1/2-inch-diameter serving bowl is a sweet way to bring about six servings of cooked vegetables or salad to the table for either entertaining or a family meal. The bowl has a rounded body that rests on a single circular pedestal foot. Designed as part of the country-themed Florea collection, the off-white bowl features a lush pink English rose with leaves along with a pink and green buzzing dragonfly, painted in exquisite detail, on either side. Pale green accents highlight the pedestal base and interior rim. This vegetable bowl is made of fine china, which has a slightly translucent appearance but offers the weight and durability of earthenware. It is durable enough to be used in the microwave and can be safely cleaned in the dishwasher. This bowl coordinates with other pieces in the Florea collection, and can also be mixed and matched with pieces in Villeroy & Boch's three other Florea variation collections: Flair, Folia, and Floris.
