Description of Villeroy & Boch Florea 67-Ounce Medium Pitcher
The soft minty green and pale pink pattern with taupe background evokes a feeling of sprintime. Beautiful blossoms and blooms adorn this lovely garden-inspired pattern. The vitrified porcelain makes for a strong and long-lasting life and is dishwasher and microwave safe.This medium-sized pitcher is a sweet way to serve ice water or iced tea at a luncheon or cold milk with a selection of muesli at breakfast, and is so attractive it can even be used as a vase for fresh flowers. The pitcher has a rounded body that holds about 67 ounces of liquid, a rounded pouring spout, and a delicate handle. Designed as part of the country-themed Florea collection, the tan pitcher features a leafy pink flower blooming on one side, painted in exquisite detail. The other side is printed with a recipe for musk rose water in quaint pale green cursive writing.
Made of fine china, this pitcher is translucent and thin in appearance but is made of strong clays fired at high temperatures, making it durable and safe for both the dishwasher and microwave oven. This pitcher coordinates with other pieces in the Florea collection, and can also be mixed and matched with pieces in Villeroy & Boch's three other Florea variation collections: Flair, Folia, and Floris.
